What would settle it

The government's own number. EIA's Electric Power Monthly, Table 5.3, publishes the average residential price about three weeks after each month ends. The promise was a halving from the January 2025 level of 15.94 cents by January 20, 2026; the price was 17.45 cents that month and 18.34 cents in June 2026. Each new table is a fact on this page. A restated target date from the White House would open a second, separately scored claim.
